The Altar of Hope offers upgrades and progression between runs, with players collecting Candles of Hope to increase different stats. Within the Altar are various locations, such as The Timeless Wood, where the player can spend their Candles of Hope to gain permanent buffs and upgrades, apply Memories to Heroes, and unlock a variety of items for the current profile. Early access players will see their Hope score, item unlocks, and hero availability reset. The Altar serves as the game's primary means of meta-progression.
